Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 situation, we decided to cancel the General Assembly 2020 at all. We apologize for this and count on your understanding. As a result, we decided to conduct the General Assembly in written form.
Please find attached to this newsletter the following documents:
- Minutes of Meeting General Assembly 2019
- SATTA annual report 2019 and outlook 2021
- Financial statement 2019
- Auditors report 2019
- Budget 2020
Because all professional assemblies we usually attend, were either cancelled or conducted virtually. Therefore, our expenses are limited to basic administrative costs. Hence, we decided to suspend the member fee for 2020 altogether. Anyway, donations are always highly appreciated.

Activities in 2020
The main topics in our industry are not only the financial impact of COVID-19 but also the new EU regulation 273, which has been vividly discussed during the virtual ERM Meeting. Also within Skyguide we participated in the following meetings; LOCOM, STRATCOM and TUM.
Concerning the new regulation 273 in the area of Facility Infrastructure, we have been in close contact with Skyguide to discuss the impact. Our discussion was very fruitful and we are happy to see that the ATSEP competency is still considered as key for any work to be done in this area. As a technical association of highly skilled experts, we offered a helping hand to work on the new ATSEP training and competency framework. More details will be shared in due course.
Many thanks in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
Please do not hesitate to get back to me for more information.
Best Regards,
Mauro Odermatt
On behalf of the SATTA Executive Board
