A fascinating exhibition in the Zytturm shows historical tower clocks from the late Middle Ages to the 20th century. A huge dial and hand-forged clockwork weighing almost 900 kg on the ground floor surprise us. Since 1406 to the present day the listed Zytturm clock in the attic floor is wound by the city clockmaker. The gears rattle and on the hour the hammer strikes the bell.

The view of the city, the lake and the mountains is breathtaking. This exhibition with its nine tower clocks is unique in Europe!
